Description Luce Furniture Co Grand Rapids MI lable dates 1927 .. Lable on each piece. I need value and any information on the style, and type wood and finish. I have dining table 8 embroidered chairs, a buffett, a side table, and a beautiful china cabinet.. Inherited .. Parents bought at auction for 1000.00 . china cabinet in storage.. And buffett has a mirrored top. Beautiful heavy pieces.

These pieces are in the Empire Revival style, which was designed after original American Empire pieces made 1815-1830. The style currently is not in vogue, it was last popular in the early 1990's and values have been in decline since that time. Currently comparable sets sell at auction for less than what your parents paid.
