Cobalt Blue Vase

By Cheribshelby, 5 March, 2018
Description

I would be very grateful if you could give me an indication of value of this item.  It’s a cobalt blue vase, with some damage to the base (see photos). Possible Victorian?  There are no markings to show manufacture etc.  It was found in the my dads attic and have no idea how he acquired it!

Many thanks

Re: Cobalt Blue Vase

It's in the style of late 19th century vases, but looks more like a lamp base from the late 1940's.My parents had a pair of them received as wedding gifts in 1947, fitted as lamps.
