Anything marked `Western Germany tends to date from just after World war Two when germany was divided into several zones, West Germany being controlled by the Western allies, East Germany by the Soviet Union. Most of these clocks were brought back by troops stationed there during the 1950`s. Most tend to sell for under $1000.00. often going at auction for under $500.00.
