Description 22 x 11& half framed what appears to be an embroidered or needlepoint picture of a little boy in patchwork cowboy clothes. The people who were having the garage sale were from Ohio & the little bit of information I was able to collect about the picture if that it traveled with them from Ohio to Texas

For many years needlpoint and embroidery have been around. Circa 1920 - 1940's came the introduction of prepainted kits. What you have here is one of those kits. It was probably made in the late 1940's by its style and theme.

I would date this pieces completion .. circa 1950 - 1960's. These kits were very popular at the time and made unique handmade gifts. Perhaps this was on made for someones Grandson. These kits were available all over the US and there are actually some that have a France origin.

Origins: Northern Central US Ohio.. Circa 1950's - 1960's

Est Value $75 - $120 US. I would recommend having the frame repaired. What they would do is cover over the existing. I would insure this piece for $250 - $300 on your house contents insurance ..

Thanks for sharing. It reminds me of the Raggety Anne and Andy we had as children ...  Please leave me a reply on my valuation. It is appreicated.

Peace Always
