Walking stick from Shanghai?

By Knardone, 1 March, 2019
Description

Wood walking stick possibly made in Shanghai China.

Below is all the lettering written on the walking stick.

Not sure if I spaced it out correctly, I used google translate and it didn’t seem to be accurate. If you know someone that can read mandarin that would be ideal.

Re: Walking stick from Shanghai?

Your stick is most likely Chinese made for tourist market. Some flags for me are the carving itself as many chinese carvings use more symbolism and greater detail. The writing is in English and would pertain to the city, province etc where it was made.  The cane has a lot of cracking and damage.

I would guess this to be from around 1965 - 1975 and of Chinese Origin.

Est Value $5 - 20 US due to condition
