1920's Star Furniture Company Bedroom Set

By MET, 19 May, 2019
Description

This bedroom set was my grandparents and was purchased sometime around 1920.  The label on the back of the dresser is Star Furniture Company, Jamestown, NY.  It is good condition with the exception of one veneer piece on the high dresser.  All pieces are original finish.  Mirror has some oxidation from age.  See pictures for detail.

Re: 1920's Star Furniture Company Bedroom Set

Nice old suite, but sadly with the exception of Art Deco pieces from the 20's and 30's, demand for furniture like this has been in decline since the 1990's. at auction comparable sets now often sell for under $500.00.
