Description This chest is silver toned with stones embed in it and lots of detailed work its heavy so the base is solid wood but covered with a felt like material on the inside and outer bottom and I would say it's about 12 by 6 inches nothing is missing but oddly I can't find any markings or engravings from where it was made or who made it so any help would be helpful..thanks

Anyone have any idea where this could be from or about how old it is??

It's most likely from Nepal or Northern China. It's not as old as it appears, similar pieces are still sold in street Bazaars to tourists.

I just know my friends grandmother just past away and they found it up in her attic under a bunch of stuff and they had never seen it.
