Accurate Description of Item
One Ardalt Capodimonte Style Centerpiece
Appraiser Remarks
Based on the images and the marking this bowl is actually fairly modern as these things go and most likely dates to the late 1950's. Pieces like this in the Capodimonte style are still in production. Ardalt was an Import/ Export business that rebranded pieces and sold them as their own brand. Ardalt Inc. Corp., was located at 95 Madison AVE., New York, the first company marks date to 1945. Values for Ardalt pieces tend to be modest in the current market, with even large pieces selling for less than $80.00
