Dunhill 14k Outer Jacket Lighter

By anichole_1, 11 February, 2020
Description

Dunhill 14k outer jacket lighter. I've searched for this model of lighter and found ones similar but not the exact same one! I'm still not certain what this one is called. My great aunt bought this a long time ago when she was still alive. The price tag on the bottom is the original one. The lighter is roughly 85-90 grams.

Re: Dunhill 14k Outer Jacket Lighter

The rolling wheel looks shorter than most Dunhill lighters making me think it's the dress type Dunhill lighter. I'll come back if I find more info.

Not getting any prices for the 14k dress lighters (if your's is that) most that I've seen of those are gold plated. I did find a bit of info on dress lighters here http://gordonbyastdunhills.weebly.com/ about a third way down the page.

Re: Dunhill 14k Outer Jacket Lighter

As MarkBlemish suggesten I believe that is indeed a dress type. http://gordonbyastdunhills.weebly.com/uploads/7/4/9/7/7497819/8888195_o…

Looks like the herringbone pattern.

As for price, it seems to vary - A LOT... This lot of two (one is the gold slim type) sold for €50. https://veryimportantlot.com/en/lot/view/zwei-feuerzeug-dunhill-189410

As with most things, it's worth what people are willing to pay for it. Just got to find the right people!
