Goldilocks and 3 Bears House- music box, lighted

By Jewelfires, 28 March, 2016
Description

This is a porcelain or ceramic house of Goldilocks and the 3 bears, it is electified and (used to) light up with a turn crank on the side to play music.
I am trying to determine it's value and anything known about who manufactured it.
I would say it is from at least the 1960's or prior - as the person owning it had it in her bedroom since being a baby and was born in the 60's.
It is signed as done by K. Tsubota ---- but, I can find no information on that artist or what company made this.
Thanks for any Info!!!! :)

Re: Goldilocks and 3 Bears House- music box, lighted

Hi there. It may have been made by the Italian company Capodimonte. K. Tsubota worked for them. I had one just like it which my aunt bought me in about 1967. Mine was broken in a move when I was 10, but I still have the three bears. Some Capodimonte pieces can be worth $100s depending on condition. Your friend should be able to get the light fixed. Thanks for posting. Nice to see it again.
