Description

I have a tapestry that I thought was This marvelous tapestry was signed "Made in France" about 25 years ago. The lovely design is after the original "Grotesque" tapestry in Krakow, Poland. Dating from 1560, the " SA" monogram in the center is for Sigismond Augustus, King of Poland and Lithuania. BUT NOT SA, MINE SAYS EH

Woven of cotton and rayon in soft colors

Measurements are 56" wide and 77" tall.

Does anyone know if it is more valuable that the SA one

Re: grotesque tapestry monogram eh

MarkBlemish, thank you for searching it. Unfortunately the ebay item is where I got the details. That one says AS, mine says EH. So I was wondering if there is a difference between the two. The other other site, is new to me. Ill research it through that site see what else I can find.

Thank You, Brian
