Re: Harry Hoffman

Harry Hoffmann was my granduncle (his wife and my father's mother were siblings). Harry Hoffmann was born in Berlin, Germany in 1919. He married in Berlin in 1941. They had one son named Norbert who lived in Bad Duerkheim, Germany for a long time. Harry Hoffmann lived in Spesbach near Landstuhl in Germany. He died in 1991. His pictures are certainly of an ideal value as they show typical german subjects or "German Gemuetlichkeit". Regards, Alex

Re: Harry Hoffman

I don't know what the value is, but the painting is definitely that of Neuschwanstein Castle where mad King Ludwig II lived. It is also the castle that Disneyland's famous Sleeping Beauty Castle was modeled from.
