Wedgewood Platter

By redstar1972, 27 August, 2020
Description

This is part of a set that was given to my family about 25 years + (we have the plates but they are not in good condition as the cook of the person who have them to us decided to put them in the oven so they are in poor condition). I also have three serving terrines with like a ladle in each one of them (will take pictures another time as we have them in a display cabinet). Just like to know a bit more about it. We are cleaing the house with a view to moving so thats how I came across this

Re: Wedgewood Platter

I can’t find any in the Beryl pattern. Burlington and Roma are the closest I can find. https://www.ebay.ie/itm/324059851945

So maybe similar time periods and values?

Re: Wedgewood Platter

Yes it does look similar to the Roma Pattern. I will get some of the other pieces out and have a look to see if there are any other marks on the plates (although the condition is not good on them)

Re: Wedgewood Platter

Based on the marking, it's post 1900 when the LTD. marking was added. Demand last peaked for china like this in the early 1990's, not much demand or value currently.
