Leather Lounge Chair and Footrest

It belonged to my grandfather, it’s 100%leather, it has a sort of sleigh look to it. Carved flowers on the sides.

Chairs like this appear far older than they actually are, designed to resemble 19th Century Victorian examples they actually 20th Century pieces that can date as late as the 1980's, the last period of revival for furniture in this style, Check the bottom of the chair for how the material is attached, most of the more modern examples were stapled.
