I have a book that was presented with the compliments of the publishers of Coronet and distributed by The Leatherneck to Marines overseas. Not for sale. It is dated September 1945

Close but from what I can tell the editions in the links you provided were published into circulation for the general public. The one I have was never available to civilians but instead were sent to the Marines overseas.

the main visible difference is on the bottom of mine does not say "now the helpless can read" but instead says how it was produced by The Coronet and distributed by The Leatherneck to Marines overseas.

So far I’m not finding your magazine in a special military edition. I did find a Time magazine that what was called a Special Pony Edition https://www.ebay.com/itm/May-14-1945-Time-Magazine-Hawaii-Pony-Edition-…
I think it might just be putting the right search term into google. If we can figure that out we might find yours. I’ll add more if I find anything.
