vintage Microphone

Description

RCA Shure Brothers Inc desk top dynamic microphone Model #559853 made in Evanston ILL. U.S.A. U.S patent pending. I have see these microphones before but they are made in Mexico with a different model number. looked in some archives but no trace of this model. Think it is a prototype.

I am a Licensed Ham Radio operator and do not know if it worth anything. It still work great and never really looked at the plate on the bottom till today. Found it interesting that it said patent still pending when simalir ones say something else.

Thank you Look in some of the old pdf manuals and some history but the 550l radios have different markings. Even on ebay they say they were made in Mexico. I sent a pic to the company. Maybe they can find somthing,
