Screen used scimitar-like prop sword used variously in Star Trek episodic television. Can be seen in Star Trek: Voyager, Season 1 Episode 12: “Heroes and Demons”, that originally aired on April 24, 1995. Obtained in July 2020 from a private dealer. The sword was originally sold as one in a lot of four swords by It's A Wrap! Production Wardrobe Sales based in Burbank, CA. Paramount Pictures enlisted them directly to sell a huge number of items, around 15,000, that were left following the Christie's 40 years of Star Trek: The Collection auction held in October 2006. The auctions began in December 2006 and continued through December 2009. This sword has been matched exactly to the photographs found in the original auction listing, lot number 4427, that sold during the week of July 13, 2007. I've included a picture of the original auction listing as well as a link (see below) . Unknown exact production date. http://startrekpropcollector.com/trekauctions/item.pl?i=4427
