By Timothy W Snider, 30 July, 2021
Description

Trying to find out what type of chair this is and a value for it. I know its at least 100 years old. Looks like a Windsor type of chair. Not sure what type of wood it is made out of. Any help would be appreciated

Re: Antique chair

This one of many types of "Windsor Chairs", which has never really has been out of production since the mid 1700's, with revivals in popularity throughout the 20th Century. examples like this one tend to date from the turn of the 19th century through the 1920's during as "Colonial Revival" pieces.
