Re: Antique Round Asian Room Divider
Similar to this one https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/more-furniture-collectibles/home-acce…
Here’s one (there are several similar ones online) that I’m assuming isn’t vintage https://www.orientalfurniture.com/oriental-furniture/L3-MSR47MBG-L.html…
Here’s one that sold on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/255066490613?hash=item3b6325c6f5%3Ag%3AcRwAAOS…
And another that sold on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/294050192291?hash=item4476c1dba3%3Ag%3A7EcAAOS…
And one on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/779165797/vintage-carved-wood-and-lacquer-… All just for comparison. 1st Dibs tends to price things high. eBay tends to show what people are interested in and what they’ll pay. I’d guess being vintage from the 1950’s would be more desirable than the ones selling at Asian themed stores today.
Re: Antique Round Asian Room Divider
Thank you. I've seen these but believe they're just imitations. I've been unable to locate any with the same theme and the work on some of these seems cheap compared to the piece I have.
Re: Antique Round Asian Room Divider
Yes, the ones at the Asian themed stores are probably newer ones. I think the 1st Dibs one is from the 50’s if the info there is correct.
