Re: A pair of Antique Potpourri Urns
From the pic it looks asymmetrical. If that’s correct it might be described as Rococo. Let me know if that’s wrong, just trying to narrow searches.
Re: A pair of Antique Potpourri Urns
Yes, they are asymmetrical.

Re: A pair of Antique Potpourri Urns
Makes me think they might be considered rococo. I did check eBay, Etsy, RubyLane, LiveAuctioneers, Worthpoint… and didn’t see any like yours, none worth adding a link. Let us know if you do get some info.

Re: A pair of Antique Potpourri Urns
It's in the style of the famous German Meissen Porcelain works, a company whose items were widely copied by a great number of smaller companies centered around Dresden Germany. Dresden was fire bombed during World War Two virtually leveling much of the city. The Meissen originals were well marked, the copies often carry fake Meissen marks, or could have no markings at all. Values are all over the map depending on quality and attribution. You'd really need to have these physically inspected by an appraiser for a valuation.
Re: A pair of Antique Potpourri Urns
Interesting history there, thanks so much and totally agree with physical appraisal.
Thanks for your input.
