1950's or 1960's Orange Plush Dog, Carnival Prize

This plush orange dog was discovered in a sealed barrel while cleaning out a relative's attic. It shows signs of wear at the seams but the fabric and ribbons are in good condition. There is no manufacturer's tag anywhere on the plush toy.

Looks like a carnival/fair prize. I was surprised to check eBay and see some had sold for quite a bit. This one got $25 https://www.ebay.com/itm/284401411894?hash=item4237a52736%3Ag%3APqUAAOSw...
And this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/353467795857?nma=true&si=H%252B4m6b1VENVjImEQpy... $59.99. I’d guess it was from the 1960s, maybe by Fred Silber Co. Ferndale, Michigan, USA.
