Brass Door Knocker- Samuel Johnson

Description

Doorknocker that reads  "Samuel Johnson Born at Lichfield 1709 Died 1784' across banner on top and "Johnsons introduction to Boswell" under head.

 Can't find anything like it anywhere on the web so far.  Any ideas of value/age of item?
