Hi. My dad has this bottle of wine. I tried Google to try and find some information on it, but have come up with very little. It's a 6 liter bottle aswell.
Ah, never mind I see it has the little 6L on the left side of the label, otherwise known as an imperiale size. I'll see what I can find out about values, but the size definitely changes things.
It's a lovely Bordeaux wine - A Red wine from Bordeaux, France. Made from Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc. For comparative purposes I've found a 1974 750ml that you can purchase today for around $210.00. The 6L size is the variable that may change the value considerably due to its age. My suggestion would be to contact the vineyard directly and see if they can give a valuation. Here's their link: http://www.dourthe.com/en/vineyard/15-chateau-rahoul to the wine and their contact information: http://www.dourthe.com/en/contact/
Are you sure that it's a 6…
Are you sure that it's a 6 liter bottle and not 750ml? If it's 6L it would be equivalent to 8 standard bottles or hold 40 glasses of wine.
