Description
I have a pair of solid bronze wall scones with crystal or cut glass. The Base of the lamps are 18 inches tall with 3 arms. The bronze is very ornamented and heavy. I have not been able to find any stamps or markings on them. I am looking to find out how old they are and an estimated value.
Rococo Style Wall Sconces
It's unlikely these are bronze, most are base metals like spelter that have been brass, silver or bronze plated. They are in the Rococo style and date from the second quarter of the 20th Century. Currently at auction comparable sconces sell at auction in the $100.00- $175.00 range
