Pair of Art Deco female head sculpture

Profile picture for user RFrohoff

Description

Pair of Art Deco female head sculptures.  Material feels like heavy plaster of Paris.  Painted a medium-grayish blue.  Most likely from early 1930s.  18" tall x 18" wide at base x 8" deep at middle of face image.  These have been in my family for approximately 90 years.  My grandfather brought them home to my grandmother. I was told they were retail store fixtures.  I have looked all over online, in libraries, etc.  Never seen anything else like them.
