Long Description

I have an old cookie jar, and did a little research on it.  It is a Smiley the pig cookie jar with the head being a piggy bank.  It has gold accents and is stamped on the bottom "Shawnee USA - Patented Smiley 60".  I got it from my sister, who got it from her mother in law.  Unfortunately, my sister let her boys break the bottom of the piggie bank head to get the coins out.  But, the rest of it is in fairly good condition.  I just wanted to kmow if it's worth keeping, or if I should toss it in the trash.

Thanks!

Too bad it's broken, in good condition they often sell for over $150.00, broken as this one is you might get $50.00.

Thank you for the reply!

Ok, thank you so much for taking the time to look and reply!  I'll keep it around for MY grandsons to use/play with!!  Hopefully the 5th generation, my great grand kids, will find delight in it too!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!
