Chest on Chest, 5 drawers - 3 on top and 2 on bottom. Sticker on back of cabinet says Davis Cabinet Company, Nashville Tennessee, Stock Number 440, Finish Maple.

History
The chest of drawers was in the house my parents bought in 1968 from an elderly lady, wife of a local doctor. After finding the sticker on the back, I did a little research and found almost identical chests by Davis Cabinet Co. and mostly was just curious if my chest had any value.

Davis Cabinet Co, Nashville, Tennessee began operations in 1929 and is still in operation. Pieces like this tend to date from the 1950's and early 60's, part of the revival in in interest in simple Colonial style furniture with a modern twist. Pieces like this were made in huge numbers by furniture factories all over North America, so values remain modest. Comparable pieces often sell at auction for under $150.00
