Would you be so kind to provide additional photos? Interior, lid, handle, other engraving. Is there a quadruple plate mark? Many thanks.

I have uploaded more photos and thank you for your help with this as I have searched high and low I do know it is a Wilcox silversmith

Though your master butter dish seems to be in very good condition but missing its glass liner, there isn't much value, probably less than $100 at auction, to replace it about $200 at retail. It's a great shape in my opinion and still has its knife which so often get separated. I think it's Wilcox, too. Probably circa 1870s - 1890s. I hope you keep it and enjoy it!
