Description

I know absolutely nothing about these glasses other than they appear to be quite old. There is something printed in the inside frame (black part), but the writing is indistinguishable. There also are various patterns throughout the frame. Traylor Made case, G.L. Hall cleaning cloth.

These glasses were…

These glasses were manufactured in either Richmond or Norfolk likely early to mid-20th century. G. L. Hall made optical and camera lenses. My great grandfather was an eye doctor and manager there for his career. My great grandmother worked there as well as a photo colorist, which is how they met. Her brother was the G. L. Hall who owned the company. I’ve seen other glasses from them on eBay selling for around $30.
