A beautiful dining room set. It has a set of six chairs that are covered in a embroidered leather material. Some, meaning three, have tears or rips, and one is missing the top of the chair back. It looks as though there are some types of creatures on the corners holding rings in their mouth. The table has carved flowers olong the sides and legs. I have another piece that looks older and has maybe Zeus or someone carved into it along with a lady.
I am intrigued by this piece.

Suites like this tend to…
Suites like this tend to copy the designs of early english furniture. Tudor, Cromwell Gothic and Jacobean quite often the styles mixed which makes it difficult to actually identify for some people. Most of these date from the turn off the 19th century through the 1930s. Furniture like this
was made on both sides of the Atlantic and was highly popular during the period and then revived a popularity in the 1980s. Since then, though demand has dropped tremendously. I see suites like this often sell for under $500 in auction.
