Wow, so very cool to see this painting. Of course you should take the AI comment for what it is and definitely have it authenticated by a professional in person to be sure it truly is an authentic Degas and not just a good copy. Anyways, that's my suggestion.

It’s definitely not the original..it’s in a museum and mine is a much smaller version. I’m not sure what I have. Probably a decent copy. It had a handwritten (by whom, who knows) note stating the title, c. 1880, and artists name. It also stated Hasenfus Gallery, which is a respected gallery. Not sure where to go from here.
