Description

This chair came from my grandma's deceased estate about 5 years ago.  All her furniture was purchased in the 40's and 50's in Queensland Australia.  This chair features a wooden frame, unsure of the type of wood.  it is screwed together with flat head screws.  I can't find any makers markings.  the seat and back is made of woven plastic coated webbing in red.  across the seat is 3 strips of jute webbing which have all perished and torn.  the red straps are all intact and are held by round brass nails.  unfortunately one of the legs has snapped completely so the whole chair needs a big restoration.  What i really want to know is if this could be a douglas snelling chair or maybe parker knoll or don rex?
