This lamp was given to me to research for a friend's mother.Ā She & her husband believed they purchased this figural lamp sometimeĀ in the 1950s.Ā The lamp is made of painted ceramic and the base is numbered and marked, F/405B/P or could be F/Y05B/P and Base Made In Italy.Ā The ceramic figure measures 18 1/2 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches wide at the base.Ā The entire lamp measures about 32 3/4 inches tall from the base to the top of the finial.Ā The actual finial 'cap' is missing and there are some chipped areas, however the lamp is in good working condition.Ā Would like to know approx. value and would consider offers.
I am unable to upload photo due to my file size - will email to you
Tray has 4 short legs with intricate designs
This piece was just discovered in my parent's house (passed down from my Grandmother). It looked interesting, so I did a little research and found some information about the artist, but not the piece itself. It's labeled as a 1978 limited edition of 1,000 pieces (this is number 327) from Stockhome Enterprises in Switzerland. The frame looks as if it has a gold underlay (or may have been painted), and has a canvas framing outside of the main frame.
It looks as if Edna Hibel started doing lithographs around 1977, so this would be a fairly early piece for this type of artwork, as near as I can tell.
Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
These are 40 leather postcards with orginal stamps from 1900-1907.
Still in original wooden case lined in red velvet.Ā Each piece has 2 bands at the top of the handle and what I believe is a leaf & berry design at the bottom on the handle.Ā
