Limoges Depose - cobalt with gold trim

Profile picture for user Lovejoy
By Lovejoy, 21 December, 2017
Accurate Description of Item
Limoges Smoker's Tray
Appraiser Remarks
Based on what I can see in the images this looks more like a 20th Century Limoges Smoker's tray, the missing piece was a container used to hold cigarettes or tobacco. The Limoges mark on it is a generic one and not attached to any one company. The "depose" mark is commonly found on German or French bisque dolls, celluloid, porcelain, jewelry, glass or metal goods. Dep stands for the German word Deponiert which means registered, or copyright. Dep is also a shortened form of Depose which is French for registered
Estimated Value
$25.00- $35.00
