For sure it's made in Inidia... and should say so on the bottom of the piece. Brass items from India are a dime a dozen... get anything you can for it.

It's a nice looking vase... but like I said... the value is around $25 at best... anything from India and brass, just does not sell, too much of it out there. go to e-bay and type in "
Brass india vase... you will see prices... you can't give them away, it's a shame.

These have been made for the export/tourist market since the late 19th century, as has been previuosly said, values for them are very modest. At auction they are often sold as part of box lots to move them at all.
