Please help? Letter opener / Toy / Small sword

Description

This small sword or paper opener has been with a family for years. It is unknown when and how it was obtained originally.

It is made of steel and ivory tusks with a bird on a tree branch painter over. It has a crossed hammers trademark on the blade.

Blade steel stays sharp and feels to be good quality. It does not permanently change shape when pressure applied.
