I have been living with my boyfriend and using this china for about 8 months now. I got curious and google searched the stamp on the back. I found several made by Arzberg, but nothing that matched what we have. He said that it belonged to his great aunt, and was given to him after she died. We have been told that it was a wedding gift given to her and her husband in the 1940's. The set is rather random, or possibly it's what is left from breakages, but is inventoried below.10 small dessert plates9 small dessert bowls8 salad plates8 dinner plates11 soup/salad bowls11 tea saucers8 tea cups1 teapotWe are wondering the value of the set. As I said we are using this on a daily basis, but wondering if we shouldn't store it, or possibly try to sell it. A few of the dinner plates have a few minor chips. Everything else is in great condition.Thank you so much for your time!

Re: Arzberg China
Not much value I'm afraid, there is currently a glut of 20th Century china on the market right now due to Baby Boomers clearing their parent's estates. There is simply more of it on the market than anyone wants, partial sets like this now often fail to sell at auction. The mark on yours eas used from the late 1940's through to about 1957. Here's a link for you regarding the company that made it :
