Prohibition era Whiskey/Liquor Bottle

By kimbernpook, 15 October, 2012
Description

This is a beautiful glass bottle with stopper. It has  "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE" embossed around the circle on the front. It has a cork glass also swirled stopper. The bottom has the Owens Illinois I within an oval within a diamond on the right side. To the left of the mark is a D 8, under that are the numbers 65 53. I'm assuming one of those numbers are the year it was made. It also has what I think is a suction scar on the bottom.
