This is a decorative egg with a deer painted on the front. There is a door with a forrest scene and a deer figurine in the middle and a deer painted on the inside of the door. This was passed down to my mother from my grandmother and my mother just gave it to me.

these type ornaments were made in the 1960's and early 70's from kits your could buy.  They are still fairly collectible today as you can imagine the amount of work that went into them.  But they don't sell for too much....less than $20
