Gibson? brown teapot with floral design and gold handle and trim

I am not sure if this is a Gibson teapot as there is no name on the bottom of the pot.  There is, however, a number written in the same gold as the handle and trim.....it reads as follows S(or B) 4 8(or B) L and below this number is what looks like an incomplete letter O .
