Hi,

I have an early model Sartorius Short Beam Balance with a Serial Number 9921. After research I found that the 10,000th balance was produced before 1911.

Excerpt from the Sartorius Chronicles:

Shortly after in 1911, the company celebrated the construction of its 10,000th analytical balance.
