I inheritied this from my Great Uncle who was an antique dealer in NY. I'm not sure how much its worth or really anything about it and was hoping someone could provide more color, or some hints on where to start.

It's Victorian, made about 1870-80, of a type made my small furniture companies and cabinet shops all over the eastern USA and Canada. It's in very poor condition, would probably fetch less than  $100.00 at auction these days.
