Description

It has been restored and is in very good condition for it's age. I don't know if all of it is original or not though. Perhaps someone with more expertise than myself could shed some light.

History I bought it at auction near Grand Rapids, Mi. I know very little about it although I am told that it is characteristic of models made in Quebec, Canada dating from the early to late 1800s.

<p>Spinning wheels of this type were produced in large numbers during the 19th century and are still quite available in the General Antique Market. Values depend a great deal on condition with machines of this type with all of their parts selling in the $200.00- $300.00 range. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>

Thank you for your input Lovejoy! I know that it is difficult to judge a piece by a few pictures, but, in your opinion does this piece look complete? I&#39;m afraid that I know next to nothing about spinning wheels.
