Description

My wife inherited a home in McLean, Virginia in 1974 from her parents.  The grandfather clock was part of the living room furniture.  She remembers it as always being there, but was never told anything about it.

I took it to a clock maker in McLean and he made two small brass parts for it and balanced it in our house.  He told me the clock was worth more than my 1974 WV microbus!

We are getting up in years and want to dispose of most of our property.

What can you tell me about this clock, a fair market price for it, and how we might sell it?

Thank you,
