Description Hand carved and painted wood frame. Thick canvas painted with oils. The canvas has a slit near the bottom, and is padded on the back. There is brown paper on back. It to has some torn places. The background of the pic appears to be of a Europian canal. There is an older female kneeling to comfort a young child, while another young child looks on.
