Antique Brass Bar Lighter

Description I was recently given 2 of these. I was told that they came out of a local bar dating to the 1870's. Apparently they were Bartender controlled lighters. When the patron need a light the bartender would swing it out to them. Very neat item. dates prior to modern electricity. Made by the gentleman that ended up creating the modern flint type lighter that is still in use today.
