Description i believe this is a painting by winslow homer of the country school 1871,from the research i have done online and at the libray-said i may have something it is possible it's one out of three paintings that he painted on his travels to the ocean where he lived the rest his life out,painted with watercolors and you can see the strokes of a brush, the material is hard wood, the frame from the research that i have done is the type of frame he would of use for this painting. I was told not to touch the painting and not expose to light
