This vase was given to me and my wife as a gift. We were told it was very old and was a Northwood Vase from wheeling WV. It is about 8 inch tall and 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The pattern is what i believe to be "grape and cable" but is not very ornate compared to some of the examples i have seen online. the vase is frosted or satin as it seems to be referred to. the actual color of the glass is clear to a very pastel green. the iridescence is not overwhelming almost an undertone to the frosted finish. The Vase does not have the circle N trademark on the bottom but rather "Northwood" in script. there are three panels or sections on the vase each with an identical bunch of grapes. the top of the vase is comprised of grape leaves bending away from the center of the vase into a flared out position. photos to come. please let me know the story behind this unique piece of history or where i can go to get more information. thanks
