Description
Just rec'd this ornate, beautiful woman's dressing table/vanity. I cannot find any information other than the history of the furniture makers. This piece is very unique and does show normal wear. There are a few pieces missing in some of the scroll work. It looks to be two different woods and wood stains? Paper on back of vanity reads: Gettysburg Furniture. On the back of the mirror is written: 103-Van 2406. Auction numbers? On the bottom of the bench: Statesville Chair.

Re: Unique Dressing Table/Vanity
Hi,
I am in possesion of the set that matches this vanity. I was wondering if you had ever found out more information on this piece?
Along with this vanity there is a bed ( head board and foot board ), Tall bureau with mirror, Long bureau with mirror. The only piece I seem to be missing is the seat that goes with the vanity. It must have been broken or lost and the original owners replaced it with a different one.
Re: Unique Dressing Table/Vanity
Well the vanity dates from the 1930's and like most made during that period is a huge mix of styles, we sell vanities like this for about $450.00. Here is a link to the company that made it:
