This piece is in the Rococo Revival style which was popular during the mid Victorian period, 1850-70. Furniture in this style was made all over Europe during this period. Reproductions were made during the 19 80's. In any event the style is not currently in vogue, but the better pieces like this one still sell for over 1600.00
